This is a very stylish external DVD Writer. It uses a high specification DVD writer from LG, and supports all CD and DVD writing formats, including Dual Layer (DL) and DVD RAM. The case is made from aluminium, and the unit has a solid feel to it. The DVD writer is reliable, light weight and great for anyone travelling. It does need mains power because the DVD draws more power than is supplied by the USB port, but you can purchase a spare 4aa battery back which you can use while on the go.
