Camera Buddy 80GB
The Camera Buddy (DigiMate III) is a palm-size, battery powered hand-held memory card storage device designed for storing photos, video and data. It copies files from most current memory cards, and copies all the data, including RAW files, onto the unit’s internal 2.5” hard drive. It is very simple to operate. Flick the on/off button and press copy! No PCs are required.
Multi Use
Instead of having loads of memory cards to store all your digital photos, the Camera Buddy can be used to offload the contents of your memory card onto the internal disk storage acting like a photo bank. Every time the contents of the memory card are offloaded onto the Camera Buddy, a new folder is created on the internal hard drive. This allows you to store files with the same name.
After you have downloaded the pictures, you can delete them from your memory card via the camera, take more photos, then copy the new photos onto the Camera Buddy again - a process that can be repeatedly done.
Photos can be accessed by plugging the Camera Buddy into your computer via the supplied USB lead. The Camera Buddy appears as an additional drive letter and photos can then be accessed in the normal way.
Charge me up
The Camera Buddy can be charged via the supplied mains power supply, via the USB lead when connected to a computer, via a car charger, or via an AA battery back (both sold separately).
The Camera Buddy copies all types of images from the memory card onto the internal hard drive, including RAW files. The Camera Buddy features a multi format card reader, supporting the following formats:
