XS Drive Ltd who pioneered the portable storage concept for photography in 2002, has recently produced their XS 2500 photo storage range of devices to comply with developing needs for photo storage products existing in the market. In backing up the photos on their memory cards, photographers like to view what has been downloaded onto their photo storage units and to be able to do so at a price that is affordable. Earlier units provided photo storage without viewing facilities, while those photo storage units that did provide viewing of the downloaded memory cards needed to fit the pocket of the average photographer. The present XS Drive 2500 photo storage series answers these needs without sacrificing any quality.
Compatibility
The XS Drive 2500 60GB photo storage unit backs up all major types of Memory Cards. No adapter is required. The memory cards supported are: Compactflash Card Type I/Type II (CF); Hitachi Microdrive; Memory Stick (MS); MS Duo; MS MagicGate; MS Gate Duo; MS-ROM; Memory Stick Pro (MS Pro); MS Pro Duo; Secure Digital (SD); miniSD; Micro SD; MultiMediaCard (MMC); MMC II; RS MMC; MMC micro; MMC mobile via adapter; and xD Picture cards (XD).
Easy as pie
With a single button press the photos from your digital memory card is downloaded to the internal 60GB HDD of the XS Drive photo storage unit. In addition to the 60GB photo storage capacity, 80GB, 100GB, 120GB to 160GB photo storage capacities are also available.

The ultimate portable entertainment centre
The XS Drive 2500 60GB photo storage unit has a built-in stereo speaker, supporting Playlist, Artist, and Album. The photo storage unit also serves as Video Player and Recorder; MP3 Jukebox Player; and Voice Recorder (ADPCM format).
Your photos are viewed on the XS Drive 2500 photo storage unit via JPEG Viewer and Photo Wallet. The modes of watching available are: Thumbnail, slide show, full-screen, and zoom in/out.
Electronic books (E-books) can be read on the XS Drive 2500 photo storage unit in .txt mode and book-marked.

Power source
An internal Li-Ion rechargeable 3.7V/2200mAh battery provides power to the XS Drive 2500. An external power adapter 5V (2.5A) 220/240V is also provided.
