An IDE hard drive can be identified by the two rows of brass pins. These hard drives are not suitable for use with this hard drive case. We do not supply one touch backup hard drive enclosures for use with IDE hard drives, but we do have a range of portable hard drive cases which can accept IDE hard drives. Look on the Enclosures and Cases page, at any mobile or 2.5" hard drive enclosure, that mentions IDE hard drives. If you need advice, please email us the model number of the hard drive that you have, and as that we suggest a hard drive case to you.
