The Pluscom Combo hard drive enclosure is one of the few hard drive caddies which accept SATA hard disks. With both Firewire and USB2.0 ports, it can be used on PC or Mac, and also Linux computers.Once you have configured the SATA hard drive into the Pluscom external hard drive caddy, you can use the disk enclosure just like a normal external hard drive. You can plug it into multiple computer, use it to backup one of many computers onto the disk drive inside the case, and many other permataions.
