ICY 1.8" Hard drive Enclosure
Stunning ICY IB-181U-Z 1.8" hard drive enclosure, with ZIF Connection. Add any 1.8" hard drive with ZIF connection to the unit, and instantly you will have a portable, USB powered, external hard drive.
Very stylish and well made, the enclosure is solid and has an expensive feel to it. An integral USB lead is permanently attached, so it can act like a USB Pen drive. The IB-181 is supplied with a USB extension lead, so that if you need to connect the 1.8" enclosure to a destop computer where the USB lead is far away, this is not a problem.
A leather cover clips open to reveal the USB lead, and to tidy it away if you are travelling.
The 1.8" enclosure can be used with 1.8" hard drives with ZIP connections. Please make sure that your hard drive does NOT have pins, as these are 'IDE'
