This is a stylish 2.5” portable enclosure for a 2.5" IDE Hard disk drive (Hdd) with a 3.5" docking rack The interface or connection method is with a USB plug. This hard drive can be slotted in or removed from the rack that fits into a standard 3.5" drive bay slot. You usually use the slot for floppy disks or other devices like your CD or DVD players. If your standard 5.25" drive bays are used by the CD or DVD's you are unable to fit other storage drive devices into your system.
