This portable enclosure is for 2.5" SATA hard drives, fitting into a 3.5" docking rack and a USB interface. The MB663UR-1S is a stylish 2.5” hard drive that can be slotted in or removed from the rack that fits into a standard 3.5" drive bay slot. You usually use the slot for floppy disks or other devices like your CD or DVD players. If your standard 5.25" drive bays are used by the CD or DVD's you are unable to fit other storage drive devices into your system. Conforming to the idea of a 5.25" removable drive rack, the slim device keeps security, exchangeability, expandability, and manageability available without sacrificing the needs of your 5.25" drive bays.
This fantastic little hard drive allows you to add-on data/ media files storage to laptops and desktops, DVR systems and on field imaging from surveillance DVR recordings, interchange of data between corporate/school/home workstations, data file backups.

The Drive Fit is 1 x 2.5" SATA and the Device Fit is a 1 x 3.5" device bay. This is a user-friendly hard drive and it has no screws. The screw less design lets you simply plug in the hard drive and play. The casing is a lightweight aluminium body which helps cooling the storage drive cartridge. You increase your external storage capability
