If you hard drive connection looks like the hard drive below, then you have a SATA hard drive. for fitting into the hard drive enclosure, don't worry about the writing on the disk or the make. What is important is the actual size (2.5") and the connection. If your hard drive is a SATA hard drive, then it will easliy slot into this external hard drive enclosure. Compare it to the other picture of a IDE hard drive. If your hard drive looks like the picture of the IDE hard drive, then it is not suitable for this disk drive enclosure. We have other 2.5" hard drive enclosure which don't mention SATA, into which you can put a hard drive with pins (ATA or IDE).
