1.8" Hard Drive enclosure
The tiny 1.8" Hard drive enclosure is ONLY suitable for Hitachi ATA hard drives. Before ordering it, please confirm that you have a Hitachi 1.8" hard drive, with an IDE connection. The IDE connection has 40 pins.This enclosure does not accept ZIF hard drives.
The enclosure can accept any capacity hard disk.
It is very easy to assemble and takes only a few minutes to install a hard drive into the case.
Once assembled, the 1.8" hard drive can be used to save and store any type of data. Transfer of the data is via a supplied USB2.0 lead. The drive works with USB2.0 and USB1 based computers.
Creating your own data storage solution is a great way of saving money, and also of making use of equipment that you already have.
