The 3.5" External USB2.0 hard drive enclosure is an easy to assemble case for any capacity 3.5" IDE hard drive. the unit has an internal fan, and is made from Aluminium. So it is pretty strong, sturdy, and hard wearing. The hard drive connects via a USB2.0 cable to the computer, and will work on PC, Mac or Linux computers with a USB port. USB1 and 2 is supported.
