The new Freecom Hard Drive Pro, with its eSATA interface, provides you with the fastest data transfer speed to date for a single external hard drive. Connected to eSATA, enables extreme high speed data transfer (3000Mbit/s). The Hard Drive Pro performs up to 6x times faster than a standard USB 2.0 hard drive. For optimal flexibility and portability, the Hard Drive Pro is also equipped with a USB 2.0 connection, so you can connect it to any modern computer that does not have an external SATA interface.
The Hard Drive Pro comes in a stylish aluminium enclosure which will compliment the design of your PC or Mac. It also features Freecom’s unique Sync button; pushing this button activates the Freecom Sync application, for synchronizing files between Hard Drive Pro and computer.

High quality aluminium enclosure with optimal internal airflow management. The silent, ball bearing temperature controlled cooling fan is equiped with a dual thermo sensor. The hard drive has a compact design, 18 x15x 5 cm and comes with a two years manufacturer’s warranty and unlimited free helpdesk support. The 27750 hard drive supports NCQ (Native Command Queing) for optimal drive usage and speed.

Make a drive image of a clean OS installation (using the supplied Acronis True Image software) on the Hard Drive Pro and recover it in case of your PC’s hard drive failure.
What is eSATA. eSATA stands for External Serial ATA, SATA is a type of data transfer interface, used for hard drives and otical drives. It gives a substantial increase in speed over PATA (Parallel ATA, also know as (E)IDE. the theoretical maximum data transfer speed of a SATA drive is 3000 Mega bits per second(SATA-II specification). Compared to SATA -1 (1500 mega bits per second) this is an incrase of 50%. eSATA is up to 6 times faster than USB 2.0.
What is one button data synchronization?
Pressing the Sync button on your Freecom Hard Drive triggers the Freecom sync application with which you can start a synchronization process between the external Freecom Hard Drive and the pre-defined source. You are thereby assured that you always have the latest version of your files on both external hard drive and source disk. Please note that synchronization is not the same as backup! Sync compares 2 files and saves the latest version and deletes the older version! Backup is copying a file from one location to another location.
