Dual Bay eSATA 1TB Disk Drive
The Stardom ST3620-2S-B2-1TB is a very stylish external aluminium enclosure housing two 500GB hard drives in removable, lockable bays. The capacity of the system is 1TB (1000GB) and is an excellent way of having access to masses of data storage capacity. The external drive is connected to a computer via a SATA connection.
Backup, data storage
The ST3620 is suitable for just about any data storage requirement; data backup, video storage, audio production and editing, music, file or photo storage. The tiny size allows it to sit tidily on your desk, belying the fact that you could have 1000GB of data in one tiny elegant package!
JBOD
The ST3620-B2 is set up in a JBOD mode. JBOD stands for ‘Just a bunch of disks’, which allows the two high capacity hard drives to be accessed via one SATA lead. The internal power supply keeps desk clutter to a minimum.
Disks can be interchanged
The SATA hard drives inside the ST3620 are in removable caddies. If you use up the disk space on the hard disks, you can easily replace the hard drives with additional drives by simply purchasing a caddy, and another hard drive(s). The hard drives which are housed in the ST3620 can be used in the iTank. This is very useful for easily moving around huge amounts of data.
