FireWire & USB Plug Data
The mobile disks are designed to be used by anyone. Simply plug the disk drive into your computer (no software driver is needed) and you can start saving files, photos, music, backing up your computer etc. The Combo hard drive works on both USB2.0 and the older USB1.1 port. The FireWire support is for IEEE1394a/ FireWire 400.
Silent Data Storage Operation
The portable drive is made from aluminium, giving it fantastic protection against wear and tear. It has no fan, or power supply, and is therefore very quiet. As it fits into your shirt pocket it cannot be bettered for portability.

* When using the FireWire interface, you need to have a 6-pin FireWire port on your computer to provide 'bus' power to the Mobile hard disk. A Notebook with a 4 pin FireWire port, or a Notebook using a CardBus card will need to use the included USB-DC cable for additional power.
