The 160GB Mobile Combo hard drive is a very versatile hard drive, suitable for use wherever you need to have masses of data in a portable package. It can connect to just about any computer, as the drive has both FireWire and USB ports.
Wireless USB Hard Drive
The Combo Mobile hard drive is a very convenient way of saving your data and carrying it with you. Running off the ‘bus’ power of the computer’s USB or FireWire* port, the mobile drive can be plugged into a PC or Mac for instant access to your files. No mains power is required.
FireWire & USB Computer Storage
The mobile disks are designed to be used by anyone. Simply plug the disk drive into your computer (no software driver is needed) and you can start saving files, photos, music, backing up your computer etc. The Combo hard drive works on both USB2.0 and the older USB1.1 port. The FireWire support is for IEEE1394a/ FireWire 400.
Protection Data Device
The portable drive is made from aluminium, giving it fantastic protection against wear and tear. It has no fan, or power supply, and is therefore very quiet. As it fits into your shirt pocket it cannot be bettered for portability.
