Maxtor has just released their Maxtor One Touch IV hard drive series. This hard drive is a 3.5-inch ATA with ATA 133 interface. This One Touch IV hard drive series offers you the dual interface, USB 2.0 or FireWire 400. You can connect using either the USB 2.0 or FireWire 400 interface.
The Maxtor One Touch IV, 500GB-USB&FW provide a safe haven for your entire working environment.  This is an elegant simple full-featured backup solution. Your backups are automated by Maxtor’s automated backup scheduling software. Specific file restoration, synchronisation, security, drive and power management has been made child’s play.
Backing up your files is done with a push of a button with the Automated OneTouch™ Backup software. You can also set up the software to perform convenient automatic backups when you need.
The Dual Interface Connect using either the USB 2.0 or FireWire 400 interface allows for speed, convenience and flexibility. You can access your information instantly. The 500-GB capacity instantly increases your capacity enormously. The Maxtor SafetyDrill™ prepares, reboots, and recovers your PC's entire internal drive contents in case of a system failure or virus/spyware infection. This option is only for Windows. 
You can synchronise your files automatically between two computers every time you connect or disconnect the drive.  This synchronisation means that you are always working with the most current data. The user interface is easy to use and drive management has been simplified as has security and backup scheduling.
