The 250Gb external Combo hard drive can be used with USB2.0 or FireWire computers. The drive does not have a fan, making operation near silent. The hard disk can be removed from the locking tray, and another disk may be inserted. This is great if many people need access to an external disk, but save costs over individual USB/Firewire hard drives.
