Enclosure for 3.5" SATA Hdd, USB/Firewire B interface.
The ICYDOCK MB-559UEB-1S is an external hard drive enclosure which houses the hard drive in a removable caddy.
The external hard drive enclosure connects to the computer via USB2.0 of FireWire B. (Firewire B is also FireWire 800).
It used the renowned Oxford 924 FireWire chip, ensuring quality, compatibility and speed.
The ICYDOCK is a very stylish external hard drive. It has a sturdy plastic frame, and it has no internal fan. This equates to near silent operation. Ventilation is provided by slots in the enclosure, allowing heat to dissipate.
The Combo Enclosure's caddy can be used in other multi bay housings in the same range. This means that you can use the caddy in this product, take it out and insert it into a 4 bay tower. Please see part codes MB561 and the rack mounted MB453 for more info.
All 'bits' are supplied with the enclosure. All you need is a SATA hard drive. We include a FireWire800 lead, FW400 lead and a USB lead.
