Removable USB2.0 Dual Bay JBOD Case
The dual bay HD-3211-U2S hard drive case is has two removable caddies or trays in which the hard disk resides. The hard disks can be set up as two individual disks, or what's called 'BIG', essentially, the combined capacity of the two disks to create one large disk.
Housing the hard drives in a caddy is a safe and secure way of inserting and removing the hard drives. This hard drive case is priced very competitively, yet the build quality is excellent. The tray mechanism works smoothly, and it is easy to insert and remove a SATA hard drive.
The HD-3211-U2S has a USB2.0 connection. It supports all common operating systems, like Windows 2000, XP and Windows Vista; Mac OS9.x and 10.x and all the later versions, and also Linux, 2.4.1.0 and higher. You must of course have a USB2.0 port, but the hard drive case also works with USB1.
