We offer an exciting range of MP3 players, from solid state (built-in memory) players to devices with expandable memory cards, and to hard drive based players. We also have a range of MP4 players, which have the added bonus of videos to watch on the go.
Solid State MP3 Players
Very robust, these have a fixed capacity so you can only store a limited number of music files on the player. The MP3 Players are very small, lightweight, and inexpensive - perfect for taking with you to the gym, for a run, or short trips.
The capacity of the MP3 player determines how many songs you can save onto the unit. As an approximation, one minute of music is equal to 1MB of data, so a 256MB MP3 player will store around 4 hours of music.
Memory Cards & Hard Disk
These units usually have some built-in memory, but having a slot for a memory card greatly increases the flexibility and storage space. You can have several memory cards, each pre-loaded with music. Just slot in the card with the music on it that suits your mood, or get a high capacity memory card to listen to mix things up a little.
These players let you store hundreds of hours of music - possibly your entire collection. The market may be dominated by the iPod, but we recommend keeping an open mind, there are some exceptional players around which are just as good.
