USB floppy drives have been around for ages and they still sell well. Its the only way to access the data on a floppy disk (these USB Floppy Drive readers read 3.5" Floppy disks, which have a capacity of 1.44Mb). Most computers are shipped today without a floppy drive. So the option, if you need a floppy disk, is to go for an internal reader, or a USB Floppy Reader. Obviously not having to install a floppy drive internally is much hard than just plugging the USB Floppy Disk Drive into a free USB port.
