Installing a Hard Drive
Buying an external hard drive is a great way to add storage capacity to your computer. However, as soon as you hear the word 'installation' and 'computer' in the same sentence, panic may set in. You've probably heard dark stories that send fear though your bones. Fortunately, in today's computing environment, horror stories are a thing of the past.
Hard Drive Installation Process
Installing an external hard disk is such a simple, quick process that apart from plugging the unit into the mains and connecting it to the computer, there is no further action required. Our mobile range of hard drives doesn't even need to be plugged into the mains! Handshaking between the computer and the peripheral is handled by the computer. This means that no software installation is required with any of the external drives, apart from (optionally) backup software.
All in all, installing an external hard drive should be the least of your concerns when upgrading the capacity of your computer.
