2.5" SATA to USB Drive Case

The 2.5" aluminium hard drive enclosure is a very stylish hard disk case for mobile SATA hard drives. Installation is very simple, only requiring the removal of two screws.

The 2.5" SATA hard drive enclosure requires no mains power, as it draws power from the USB port of the computer. The unit works with USB1 and USB2.0 computers, and works on Windows and Apple Mac. The enclosure can accept any capacity 2.5" hard drive.

Please note: before you purchase, make sure of which type of hard drive you have. Find the model number, type the model number into Google, and look at the specifications. Your disk needs to be SATA. Sometimes, the description will say Serial ATA, which is SATA. If you are in the least bit unsure, email us and we will be more than happy to advise you.

Works with Windows from Windows 98SE onwards, including Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7. Mac OS, including OS9.x and 10.x and above. Linux, and any other operating system that has USB Mass storage support.

Please note that these enclosures accept hard drives up to 9.5mm in height.
