The Pluscom 3.5" USB 2.0 enclosure is a low cost, 3.5" USB 2.0 Enclosure with a simple, aluminum body for protection and heat dissipation. Supports both Hi-Speed USB 2.0 & USB 1.1 connections. Active LED indicates power and data access.
Assembling a hard drive into the Pluscom enclosure is simple and quick. All components are provided - you simply add the hard drive. Please make sure you have a SATA hard drive to use with this enclosure.
Once the drive is assembled, the disk case can be connected to PC's running Windows, Apple Mac's and Linux computers.
The Pluscom hard drive enclosure works will all common operating systems, that support USB storage devices. This includes Windows computers up to Windows 7, Mac computers from OS8.6 to OS X, and Linux computers. No drivers are needed to install the hard drive case, and once the USB lead is plugged into your comuter, it behaves like a normal hard drive.
