Internal 3.5" Black Sata Caddy

This low cost, easy to install SATA hard drive caddy is a very simple way of adding a caddy system to your computer. Simply install the disk caddy in a CD/DVD bay (it is easy to install and connect), then simply slot the hard drive in and out when you need to. If you need a new caddy to house another hard drive, simply purchase an additional unit. The trays are not sold separately.

Please note these units are INTERNAL. They fit inside a PC or Tower. They DO NOT have a USB port.

Unlike standard IDE hard drives, Serial ATA (SATA) hard drives feature faster speeds, easier configuration, and the ability to change hard drives without having to turn your system off first. 

This Pluscom SATA Mobile Caddy is hot swappable, features a keyed lock for security and built-in fans for cooling. Compatible with Windows, VISTA, MAC and Linux. Windows 7 is also supported.

Please ensure that your computer has a SATA connection on the motherboard. If your computer does not, then you can easily buy a SATA expansion card that will give you SATA connectivity internally, and even externally, so that you could add an external hard drive, or the SATA caddy. This item is also know as an HDD enclosure or HDD caddy.
