Hornettek Two Disk USB 3.0 Hard Drive Case X2-U3

Storage Depot is pleased to introduce the all new X2-U3, a two bay external hard drive enclosure from Hornettek.. TheX2-U3 houses two SATA hard drives, and connects to a computer via the USB3.0 port. The two hard drives are housed internally and can be accessed individually in 'JBOD' mode, or can be combined into one 'BIG' volume, where the capacity of the two disks are added together. 

The 3.5” SATA Dual Bay Enclosure “X2-U3” comes with USB 3.0 interface and supports two SATA HDDs at once. Assembly is straight forward and the unit has an internal fan, keeping things cool. The units can also be used on USB2.0 ports.

The dual bay case is made from high grade aluminuim and build quality is excellent. 

Support Mode: JBOD/B.I.GJBOD: It enables each hard drive to be seen separately as single drive. (Showing 2 HDD capacities)B.I.G: A popular method for combining multiple physical disk drives into a single virtual one

NOTE: For JBOD Mode - The hard drive on each bay is able to support up to 2TB SATA hard drives

NOTE: For B.I.G Mode - The combined hard drive capacity should not exceed 2TB. (i.e. 1TB per bay)
