The diskAshur DT is the world's first and only PIN activated, hardware encrypted USB 3.0 hard drive offering capacities of up to 3TB. Featuring FIPS PUB 197 Validated AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption, the diskAshur DT seamlessly encrypts all data on the drive in real-time, keeping your data safe even if the hard drive is removed from its enclosure. With no software installation required for setup or operation and the ability to run on any platform, the diskAshur DT provides stress-free deployment in corporate environments.

The diskAshur DT can be configured with independent Admin and User PINs. If the User forgets their PIN, the drive can be unlocked using the Admin PIN. diskAshur DT can be configured to lock after a pre-determined length of time of your choosing (for example 5 or 10 minutes). Ideal for protecting your data when you're away from your desk. All data is always encrypted whilst the drive is at rest. The diskAshur DT protects against Brute Force attacks by denying access to the drive until the correct 6-16 digit PIN is entered.

Designed with protection in mind, the entire iStorage family incorporates 'wear resistant' keypads to hide key usage and avoid tipping off a potential hacker to the commonly used keys. Incorporated into the iStorage product range electronics is iStorage Variable Time Circuit (iVTC) technology, working to thwart "timing attacks" aimed at accessing the drive by studying the behaviour and infiltrating the diskAshur DTs electronics. The diskAshur DT robust design has a solid aluminium enclosure which is ideal for whisking away heat from the rotating drive inside.
