SATA Caddy, IDE Caddy.
Storage Depot Ltd have long been supplying external hard drive enclosures. Somehow, part of the product line did not include hard drive caddies.
We were pleasantly surprised when, after listing hard drive caddies, at the huge number of orders we received from such an ordinary product.
We typically receive multiple orders for the caddys. The reason for this is that they are very flexible. It is simple to install a caddy into a computer, and then, if you need to remove the hard drive and add another one, you simply remove the drive caddy, insert another disk into the caddy and plug it into your computer.
More practical in some instances than an external hard drive enclosure, the SATA caddy or IDE Caddy enables different operating systems to be loaded onto different disks. What to run Linux today, XP tomorrow and Vista later? Simple, you just take three hard drives, three hard drive caddies, add them together and stir.
Similarly, if you need a lot of disk space, You could use different hard drives in different caddies and then swap and change as you need disk space.
So all in all, we simply love these well built caddies and can recommend them to anyone who has a tower or desktop computer.
